Design House Greetings is a stationery company based in Sheridan Wyoming and Maplewood, Minnesota. We believe in celebrating life, personal connection, and that the gift of a handwritten card or note is one of the best ways to support each other throughlife's up's & down's.
We work directly with independent artists from around the world, to craft a line of high-quality paper greeting cards that include visually intriguing images, thought provoking sentiments, and sometimes just plain old fun! Our wide variety of artists, each offering a different look, feel and voice, results in a unique collection of greeting cards that can inspire, celebrate, sympathize and encourage those we love and support.
At Design House Greetings we not only believe in creating unique and beautiful greeting cards, but also in producing them in the best way possible. We strive to be conscientious and fair in all aspects of our business. We nurture relationships built upon integrity, honesty and respect – with the artists we work with, the vendors we patronize, and the customers we serve. All of our cards are printed in the USA. We use FSC-certified paper stocks with recycled content, environmentally responsible printers, and select high quality materials that allow for products that are both well-made and beautiful.
In addition, each and every one of our cards is inspected and assembled by hand, by groups employing adults with developmental disabilities. Every card that we create is designed and produced with care, so that we end up with a collection that we would not only use ourselves, but also are incredibly proud to share.
We are a small greeting card firm located in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis/St Paul, Minnesota. We pride ourselves on the publication of 100’s of high-quality, smart, fun and innovative greeting card designs a year. We’ve been in business for 10 years, and are still growing.
We are looking for someone who is interested in working toward becoming a key member of our leadership team. You should be a self-starter who has a creative flair, is detail oriented, and conscientious. You must be comfortable wearing multiple hats - you will be expected to create your own work for every step of the process - product concept, layout, design and production, as well as help manage and traffic the design and production process of the team.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal are essential. We are looking for someone with a positive and nurturing attitude that is able to partner and build productive relationships with team members inside and outside the organization. You will be working with agencies and artists on concept development, art direction and licensing negotiations, experience in licensing is a must.
Your portfolio should demonstrate a breadth of design styles, understanding and creative use of typography and significant experience in the print sector.
