The Senior Associate Brand Manager is responsible for helping lead key product innovation or core and/or seasonal businesses. Specifically, brand management leads insight development and concept qualification through to launch. The Senior Associate Brand Manager plays an integral role in innovation development, brand health tracking, marketing plan development, and field sales communication amongst many other things.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for support initiatives, tasks, and project work within the marketing function 
  • Support the marketing team with management of activities for new product initiatives 
  • Lead execution of certain marketing plans (e.g. Consumer promotions, social media programs, sampling events) 
  • Execute new product initiatives with key cross-functional stakeholders 
  • Responsible for ensuring the in-market performance of the brand to meet the annual business plan objectives including, brand consumption, market share and household penetration. 
  • Utilize syndicated and other sources of data to provide insight on the brand, category, consumer, customers and competitive set. From the insights collected, ability to provide recommendations on actions or adjustments to the plan based on any insights indicated. 
  • Responsible for graphics initiatives across entire portfolio Assist with ad hoc projects as needed. 
  • Review and manage the budget for all annual Marketing activities, providing recommendations of spend allocations and on-going tracking actual vs. plan. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required; MBA Preferred 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ of relevant marketing experience, preferably in consumer packaged goods 
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including experience with IRI/Nielsen data 
  • Strong leadership & communication skills with the ability to understand and present information analytically and creatively 
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Good project management and time management skills 
  • Possess creativity and entrepreneurial spirit 
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners 
  • Team player with a creative and positive attitude 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc. 
  • Minimal travel <10%
