Job Overview:

The Assistant Brand Manager will provide ongoing project support and consumer analysis to drive growth and facilitate better decision making on our two key brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Tracking and management of brand and/or marketing projects, project materials, artwork, and project budgets. 
  • Production of associated reporting such as commercialization documents and artwork briefs 
  • Track invoices and assist in budget management 
  • Assist in commercialization of new products and new brand initiatives through process stage gates, consumer research, concept development, formula creation, cost analysis, lab and bakery trials, and commercial scale-up 
  • Perform in-depth analysis of Nielsen syndicated data, point-of-sale and/or other research, category, and consumer data in support of marketing initiatives 
  • Support all brand management activities for portfolio, including new product launches, in-store events, seasonal program execution, etc. 
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of sales presentation decks and other customer facing marketing materials and/or communications 
  • Assist in the management of agencies and outside marketing vendors involved in the creation and execution of marketing materials and programs; 
  • Ensure timely completion of agency and vendor deliverables
  • Bachelor’s degree required; BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred 
  • 1+ years of consumer packaged goods (CPG), marketing, or syndicated data experience preferred 
  • Experience working with Nielsen, IRI, or other syndicated data preferred 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; 
  • Ability to analyze, synthesize, formulate, and present recommendations 
  • Strong self-management skills with ability to manage multiple demands in an entrepreneurial environment 
  • Excellent planning, project, and time management skills to complete projects within the associated timelines 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally with colleagues across a variety management levels
