Job Purpose and Impact:

The Senior Associate Marketing Manager will work closely with the Truvia marketing and sales team to develop, align on, and execute the brand’s strategy and goals. This is a marketing generalist role with the primary responsibility of driving profitable growth for the brand by using multiple channels of influence and communication. The marketer will have P&L responsibility for at least one Truvia product line. This high performer will also be involved in innovation work as required including new product development, pricing, positioning and launch.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Help plan, create, and produce marketing strategies and sales objectives working with marketing mix elements. 
  • P&L understanding for assigned product line(s). This includes evaluating competitive landscape, understanding growth drivers, and building strategies to accelerate growth based on NielsenIQ analysis and consumer research. 
  • Participate in evaluating and modifying promotion or advertising programs. 
  • Participate in producing informational material for the sales force and communications media to reach target consumer market 
  • Independently manage projects related to product development with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business related or equivalent experience, 
  • Knowledge of at least one key marketing mix elements (public relations, email and web marketing, social media platforms and tactics) 
  • Experience working with and managing marketing agencies (shopper marketing, media, public relations, social media) 
  • Demonstrated leadership at successfully leading cross-functional teams 
  • Ability travel to 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of CPG food-related brand marketing experience, either in an agency or CPG food company 
  • Experience launching new products – ideation, planning, execution, and measurement. 
  • Developing roll-out strategies and launch plans.
