The Senior Channel Manager, Paid Media will be responsible for achieving traffic (session) targets for the Home Energy division’s digital properties through both paid and organic marketing initiatives. This role works hand-in-hand with Rehlko’s agency partners for paid media and SEO to ensure marketing campaigns deliver against target metrics and result in qualified leads. The Acquisition Manager oversees the strategies and tactics for bringing new customers to the business and manages the Home Energy paid advertising budget to maximize ROAS. Remote location is acceptable if candidate can work regular business hours in Central time zone.

Specific responsibilities:

  • Traffic growth: Achieve year-over-year session growth targets to Home Energy digital properties from paid and organic marketing campaigns. Continuously identify, evaluate, and test new sources of paid traffic/inquiries.

  • Agency management: Closely manage/oversee agency partners for paid advertising and affiliate marketing to ensure performance targets are met. Develop standard operating procedures to manage the agencies and serve as the reviewer and approver of agency strategic and tactical recommendations.

  • Budget management: Ensure the paid advertising budget is optimally allocated to meet traffic and lead goals and maximize ROAS. Recommend budget shifts among channels, campaigns, and tactics as needed to account for seasonality or variations in performance.

  • Affiliate marketing channel management: Ensure tracking and reporting mechanisms are in place to achieve lead quality, volume, cost-effectiveness/ROI, and brand compliance targets for the affiliate channel. Provide guidance to the affiliate marketing agency partner on new publishers to onboard or commission payout changes as appropriate. Work with the website channel owner to create affiliate-specific landing pages on the consumer website as needed.

  • Analysis and reporting: Work with agency partners to establish a daily/weekly/monthly reporting cadence and dashboards for all paid media and affiliate marketing campaigns, including detail down to the keyword level. Analyze these reports regularly to flag performance variances and improvement opportunities. Provide summary reporting and metrics on paid advertising efforts to other parts of the organization or to leadership as requested.

  • Testing and optimization: Optimize the paid media digital experience for consumers, from clicking on an ad to visiting a landing page to becoming a lead. Oversee testing/experimentation plans for channels, campaigns, forms, and landing pages, and ensure tests are set up for clear measurement and reporting.

  • Creative review: Work with the Content Strategist to ensure all paid advertising creative supports the Kohler Home Generator brand. Evaluate performance of paid advertising creative and work with agency partners to test and refresh creative as needed. Review and approve all ad copy, optimizations, and proposed account changes for the paid search channel

  • Promotion support: Ensure all Kohler home generator promotions are supported across paid media and affiliate marketing campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, digital communications, or related field

  • 6-10 years’ experience managing customer acquisition for digital lead generation and/or ecommerce sites

  • 2-3 years’ experience managing marketing agency partners

  • High level of proficiency with Google Ads platform and Google Analytics

  • Experience managing affiliate marketing programs or leveraging affiliate marketing as a growth strategy

  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to synthesize insights / understand performance drivers based on data

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, troubleshoot/problem-solve quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and pivot when needed

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, or digital communications a plus

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency a plus

  • Knowledge of the home improvement or standby home generator industry is a plus

The Salary range for this position is $122,750.00-$156,850.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
