We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist. This position will work closely with Old National’s Commercial team, primarily Treasury Management and Specialty Banking, as well as cross-functional, key partners across the organization (Commercial Line of Business Marketing team, Legal, Compliance, and IT) to assist with designing and managing the execution of omnichannel marketing and client experience campaigns and programs to help drive Commercial Banking goals and objectives. The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for collaborating with the Creative and Digital Marketing teams to develop on-brand collateral and content, including web page updates and enhancements, along with assisting in event management.

Key Accountabilities:

Create collateral, content and website enhancements, along with supporting events.

  • Partner with Creative Marketing Team to develop, produce, and update Commercial Banking sales and promotion materials.
  • Assist in enhancing, updating and creating commercial web pages.
  • Assist with commercial events, including in-person and webinars.
  • Create thought leadership content with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.

Manage and assist with marketing campaigns and outreach to commercial clients and prospects.

  • Support and help coordinate multi-media marketing plans, including tactical needs and timelines, to drive Commercial Specialty Team goals and objectives, including lead generation and cross-sell initiatives.
  • Support and help coordinate formal client engagement plans to drive value in Old National’s commercial services among existing clients.
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team to utilize marketing automation tools to execute targeted marketing campaigns and/or thought leadership events with clients and prospects to drive engagement and/or growth.

Serve as a marketing liaison to commercial banking teams.

  • Focus lines of business include Commercial Specialty Industries and Treasury Management.
  • Develop, produce and update Treasury Management product guides, web pages and content.
  • Collaborate with and support commercial specialty teams with growth and client retention.
  • Engage in strategic planning discussions with commercial Line of Business leaders and the Commercial Senior Marketing Manager to grow the commercial banking business; includes participating in recurring commercial team meetings as needed.
  • Participate and engage in Commercial Agile Marketing process by researching and bringing new marketing ideas and best practices to support commercial marketing KPIs.
  • Run goal driven campaigns to drive lead generation and cross-sell.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in marketing and communications planning, such as campaign or marketing project management. Or experience in Commercial Banking, with passion to grow and develop marketing skills.
  • BS or BA in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration or related field of study 
  • Minimum of two to three years as a marketing or commercial banking professional; financial services industry experience strongly preferred 
  • Hands-on experience in a range of creative channels including by not limited to print, video, digital, social media and email is preferred. 
  • Confident as a critical, careful reviewer and editor; ability to provide clear, direct feedback to collaborators 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment which demands quick thinking and strong attention to detail 
  • Strong communication skills—proactive, organized, clear, persuasive and action-oriented; ability to champion and quickly convey ideas to teammates and line of business partners.
