Boeing is seeking a Senior Communications and Branding Specialist to join the Culture and Values Communications Team. The candidate will work closely with business partners leading the company’s compliance, ethics and trade control activities.

This role provides the opportunity to contribute to an important business priority by helping all employees understand their obligations and how to comply with them, as well as helping to ensure everyone feels comfortable asking questions and raising concerns.

This skilled communicator will own the communications strategy for compliance and ethics communications with a strong focus on increasing employee awareness and understanding. In addition, this communicator will support leaders in the Global Compliance and Ethics organizations with executive communications.

This role can be based in any of the following locations: Chicago, IL; Arlington, VA; Hazelwood, MO; North Charleston, SC; Ridley Park, PA; Plano, TX or Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with communicators and employees across the company to develop strategic communications plans and campaign materials that increase employee awareness and understanding of compliance and ethics 
  • Maintain compliance and ethics narrative and proactively drive key message integration in collaboration with business partners and communicators 
  • Lead communications planning and execution in support of annual, enterprise wide 
  • Recommitment training 
  • Serve as a strategic communications counselor to Ethics and Compliance executives and support leadership communications on their behalf including but not limited to leadership messages, talking points, all-team meetings, and speaking engagements 
  • Write and edit materials such as feature articles, leadership messages and speeches, scripts, website and social media content, both independently and in partnership with communications colleagues 
  • Apply strategic thinking to every project and maintain a clear focus on business priorities

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of internal employee communications experience 
  • 3+ years of experience creating and implementing communications plans, strategies, and tactics 
  • Experience leading, influencing and providing strategic counsel to business partners, colleagues and leaders

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with change management, culture, compliance and ethics communications

Typical Education/Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).
