Position Overview:

Entrust Datacard is a pioneering leader trusted identity and secure transaction solutions. We are seeking an experienced, motivated communications professional to join our Global Communications team as Sr. Analyst Relations Specialist.

Analyst Relations plays a critical role at Entrust Datacard – both to foster strategic relationships with relevant tech industry analysts, and to augment the thinking of executives, product, marketing, communications teams with analyst research and insights.

The Sr. Analyst Relations Specialist will help us deepen our communications and collaboration with technology industry analysts. This new role will work in close collaboration with our Director of Communications and our Analyst Relations Director to ensure that Entrust Datacard gains optimal positioning for its solutions with key influencers and leverages these relationships to gain maximum benefit from industry analyst relationships.

The Sr. Analyst Relations Specialist will be a collaborator, facilitator and superior communicator. Successful candidates will be comfortable managing relationships with a global analyst community, and synthesizing complex tech discussions and analyses for a global business and media audience. Our Sr. Analyst Relations Specialist will be outcome-driven, comfortable with strategic thinking and tactical execution, and adaptable in a dynamic, fast changing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and foster effective relationships with designated analyst firms, and key analysts. Connect relevant analysts with company executives and subject-matter experts for calls, face-to-face meetings, briefings, inquiries and advisory sessions. Respond to ad-hoc inbound analyst requests. 
  • In close collaborations with the Communications and Marketing teams, design and execute analyst relations programs in support of key product launches, marketing and media relations initiatives. 
  • Drive and coordinate important technology evaluations and surveys and quantitative research requests by analysts, working with multiple Entrust Datacard stakeholders. 
  • Orchestrate analyst visits with Entrust Datacard staff (e.g., advisory days), analyst events, and Entrust Datacard presence at analyst-hosted conferences, including working with subject matter experts and executives to develop messaging and presentation materials. 
  • Develop innovative ways to leverage analyst research & opinion to educate internal stakeholder groups and inform key product and market strategy decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Technology or Business 
  • 5+ years of tech industry analyst relations experience, or in a related public relations or marketing role with top-tier tech industry analyst interaction 
  • The ability to deliver successful outcomes working with and leading cross-functional project teams 
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Master’s Degree 
  • Talent for synthesizing third-party research and analyst, and communicating their significance a broad, cross-functional stakeholder audience, including senior executives. 
  • Knowledge of and passion for IT and innovation. Data security, authentication, IoT, identity management and payments experience 
  • High personal and professional integrity 
  • Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills 
  • The ability to independently manage a high volume of complex, deadline-driven tasks, concurrently. 
  • Desire to innovate, communicate, and make a difference for colleagues, the company and the industry
