As a Senior Consultant, you will act as a strategic communication advisor to our clients and a key contributor to the development and implementation of measurable, results-based communication and change management strategies. This is a client-facing role, serving as a client lead for bswift Communication Agency clients. This role’s top priority is ensuring our clients’ success.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in employee communication, with a focus on internal communication, change management, and HR. The ideal candidate also has significant experience in creating strategies and managing communication during times of change and transition (technology implementations, rebranding, etc.) and developing communication strategies to support those strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor, engaging directly with clients to understand their unique objectives and challenges and providing expert communication counsel.
  • Develop and pitch comprehensive multi-channel communication strategies aligned with client goals and organizational objectives.
  • Drive sales initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships, and participate in sales pursuits with prospective clients.
  • Act as client lead by providing client management and leadership for large, complex client engagements, managing project budget, scope, and scope creep.
  • Partner with assigned communications account manager to oversee the deliverable development process to ensure seamless execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to clients’ industries to enhance counsel and service offerings.
  • Continuously assess and refine communication approaches based on feedback, industry developments, and evolving client needs.

Requirements:

  • 7 - 10 years of experience in employee communication and change management with a corporation or consulting firm/agency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business or public relations. 
  • Knowledge of current communication and change management trends and related technology (e.g. digital and social media), and proven ability to apply that knowledge to client-focused solutions.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrating creativity and technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and carry out well-defined assignments, according to established guidelines, with little to no supervision.
  • Experience in client management.
  • Experience working in teams, and proven ability to leverage other internal resources (e.g. colleagues across different teams) to address challenges.
  • Experience working with in-house designers, agencies or other creative partners.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Benefits communication experience is a bonus.
