Senior Copywriter (Health + Wellness)

At FCB Chicago, the Senior Copywriter is responsible for the conception, copy and execution on complex projects with minimum supervision. Senior Copywriters use advanced writing and presentation skills, and can generate big ideas.

Responsibilities:

• Work with a Senior Art Director to write and direct concepts across all disciplines 
• Concept big ideas 
• Analyze and effectively use research to write insight-driven copy 
• Present campaigns to senior Creatives with authority and conviction 
• Initiate and complete campaign elements without supervision 
• Understand responsibility toward client costs and agency expenses

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience 
• Specialized skillset/experience in thinking visually as well as verbally 
• Specialized skillset/experience in mentoring junior writers 
• Portfolio that represents a range of design styles, diversity of projects, and a clear personal aesthetic 
• Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience required
