Senior Copywriter

The Sr. Copywriter is responsible for being a brand storyteller, leader for our in-house creative department and working on refining and expressing the FTD brand with emotion and style.

What you will do:

• Work with Creative Director and Sr. Graphic Designers to develop seasonal messaging campaigns 
• Develop and evolve the brand voice under the guidance of the Creative Director 
• Pitch and present to internal clients with a solid rationale that checks off the boxes 
• Lead brainstorming sessions and translate conceptual ideas into tangible creative work 
• Copy proofing/editing for all assigned projects 
• Develop product copy and descriptions and establish benchmarks and own copy guidelines 
• Direct and mentor junior staff as needed

What we seek:

• Degree in Advertising, Journalism, English, or other Communications degree 
• 5+ years' experience in a copywriter or similar role 
• Agency or in-house experience in a B2B or highly transactional e-tail environments 
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
