Your role at MOBE:

A Senior Copywriter is responsible for creative ideation and execution of various projects and initiatives that support Marketing efforts at MOBE. Responsible for delivering best-in-class brand experiences, you'll bring ideas to life that not only meet business objectives, but that also meet the needs of our audiences.

As a successful Senior Copywriter, you will collaborate with other creative team members to ideate and execute work across a wide range of creative assignments, including multi-channel campaigns (in both print and digital). You will be responsible for writing on-brand copy that meets strategic marketing goals, yet that also delivers on providing an optimal experience for our audience. You'll maintain an in-depth understanding of our brand voice and deliver content that not only informs, but also inspires.

This position reports to the Director of Creative Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Concept and write content for multi-channel initiatives, including direct mail, email, landing pages, web, paid media (display), social media (paid and organic), and OOH. 
  • Participate in strategy sessions and kick-off meetings; adding to discussions with thoughtful contributions and observations. 
  • Collaborate with other creatives to ensure assignments meet project requirements and business objectives. 
  • Help organize, maintain, and support creative writing standards and proofing guidelines. 
  • Prioritize and balance a large capacity of work, avoiding obstacles or delays through clear communication with creative teammates and project managers. 
  • Apply a strategic lens to creative problem solving, and present work in a clear and concise way. 
  • Adhere to brand standards when writing to provide a consistent and compelling experience for our audience. 
  • Support content reviews and proofread whenever needed (or provide guidance to team Proofreader on writing standards). 
  • Understand business products/services/objectives through research and cross-functional conversations. 
  • Support the MOBE Marketing team with high-quality work and 'out-of-the-box' thinking. 
  • Mentor and guide emerging writing talent, as needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by MOBE's Guiding Principles.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
  • 5+ years of writing experience in a creative setting with a solid portfolio demonstrating breadth of writing/related experience. 
  • Superior writing skills and understanding of best practices in digital and print production and development. 
  • Background/experience in digital (web, UX, social). 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word. 
  • Experience with submitting work for review using a project management tool (ex: Wrike). 
  • Understanding of grammar, usage, and documentation considerations (adhering to Chicago Manual of Style or similar). Ability to adhere to writing standards according to brand guidelines. 
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally and written). 
  • Pro-active team player and self-starter. Ability to support a positive work environment (remote or in-person). 
  • Driven by curiosity. Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset. 
  • Well-organized with a strong attention to detail. 
  • Adaptable. Able to work in a rapidly changing environment. 

Preferred:

  • Agency experience a plus. 
  • Experience in B2B and B2E. 
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud.
