Razorfish seeks a demonstrated digital copywriter with experience crafting communications for premium brands. Experience working with spirits brands is essential. The digital copywriter will partner with project management, design, and technology teams to deliver copy for paid advertising, email, social media, and web campaigns. Candidates considered must excel in dynamic, deadline-driven environments where attention to detail and poise presenting creative solutions to clients are fundamental.

Job Description

  • Work closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development, thereby contributing creative strategies 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times 
  • Continually raise the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action 
  • Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by company, or target audience at hand 
  • Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging 
  • Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings 
  • Understand the concept behind creative work and how it achieves client and business goals 
  • Interpret creative briefs to develop and produce creative concepts through execution on assigned brands 
  • Stay on top of trends through business/industry monitoring and outside resources 
  • Tactical 
  • Understand target audience to translate copy and design into compelling creative 
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing and communications materials 
  • Collaborate with a team from concept development to delivery of final product 
  • Present copy concepts and final deliverables to teams 
  • Revise copy based on feedback/direction 
  • Proofread written work and online content 
  • Juggle multiple assignments and work in a high-pressure environment 
  • Manage time and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands 
  • Help communicate creative ideas in presentations

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with command of voice tone that can align to client's brand guidelines 
  • Firm understanding of digital trends and CRM advertising principles 
  • Demonstrated portfolio of copywriting for digital campaigns, specifically email and social media 
  • Brainstorm with design and technology teams to deliver innovative concepts that deliver on client's business goals 
  • Be a steward of our client's brand and ensure brand voice is delivered effectively across digital channels 
  • Bachelors Degree 
  • 5+ years Copywriting experience 
  • Experience in Digital and Site Mapping 
  • Strong grasp of current trends and familiar with the industry standard 
  • Experience in both long and short form writing 
  • Understanding of the presentation side of the industry and comfortable with being in a client facing position. 
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 
  • In-depth understanding of the digital space. 
  • Experience and Knowledge of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) 
  • Looking for someone who is responsible, accountable, organized and a strong communicator. 
  • Adept team member Automotive Industry experience would be a plus
