Position Details

Senior Digital Marketing Strategist
Southeast Wisconsin
Shorewood, WI

Northwoods is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist to work with a variety of clients across multiple industries around the globe as well as in our own backyard.

Responsibilities and Skill Areas:

  • Craft and execute initial digital marketing strategies and ongoing actionable, billable strategies for clients 
  • Be an expert in Northwoods digital marketing services & solutions, assisting the sales team in winning business for digital marketing 
  • Be instrumental in helping develop new digital marketing capabilities 
  • Work with digital advertising & SEO teams to oversee digital marketing campaigns for clients 
  • Develop data visualization reports for clients & meet monthly to review campaign results 
  • Act as a key member of the digital marketing leadership team, providing support to build and execute our roadmap for continued business growth 
  • Contribute ideas to web design projects, social media, SEO consulting, digital strategy consulting, and content management implementation 
  • Develop and share compelling thought leadership content for internal sales and marketing efforts

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in digital marketing across a variety of industry verticals 
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing and measuring successful digital marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function, including experience with Google Ads, social advertising platforms, MA tools, CMS tools, keyword data and data visualization tools 
  • Proficient with KPIs and web analytics software, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Google Data Studio 
  • Familiarity with web design and website content management 
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills 
  • Strong team management, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple opportunities and manage time well 
  • Passion to learn and grow in the digital marketing/web/technology field 
  • Confidence to speak up and share ideas 
  • BA in marketing, communications, business or other related field a plus
