While carrying out the job duties listed below, the Senior Digital Media Specialist contributes to our continued business success by providing unsurpassed guest service, personal and professional dedication to our Mission, Vision, and Values, and demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethical standards.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

  • *Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring, and training team members; scheduling and motivating team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints; and resolving problems. 
  • *Lead and execute all aspects of digital communications to support our corporate and brand marketing initiatives including but not limited to keyword research, analysis, ranking, and scoring; Search Engine Optimization (SEO) competitive analysis/Search Engine Marketing (SEM); pay per click (PPC) advertising; social media; blogging; mobile marketing; link building; display ads; site traffic reporting; and emerging digital channels. 
  • *Create, maintain, and evolve social media strategy that maps to a broader content and communications strategy. 
  • *Lead efforts to track, monitor, measure, and analyze campaign results and translate those findings into actionable steps and plans for optimizing campaign. 
  • *Support the Media Manager in efforts to ensure that the department achieves its goals. 
  • *Represent the brand’s two-way communications within key social channels including but not limited to posting updates, answering posts/tweets, and maintaining an ongoing dialogue with our guests. Communicate important feedback to appropriate stakeholders. Seed content into social networks. 
  • *Write blog posts and other pertinent communication materials. 
  • *Deliver monthly traffic and conversion reports for our website, including site analytics, SEM/SEO, social media, and other metrics. 
  • *Create and implement effective organic search and paid search to increase web traffic. Understand how social media impacts search traffic. Recommend and implement adjustments to traffic strategies based on reports. 
  • Research and propose new opportunities for social media marketing and advertising campaigns. Monitor trends in social media and monitor social space for brand and related topics and conversations. 
  • Maintain close working relationship with Public Relations, Creative, Guest Relations, and Promotions departments. 
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of progressively responsible, related experience is required. 
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Google AdWords and Google Analytics certificate preferred. 
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience using social media management tools, Photoshop, and content media systems software are preferred. 
  • Experience using Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google’s keyword tool and Spredfast (or other social media management tool). 
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information. 
  • The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members. 
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the office and property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member may be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 20 pounds on a regular basis. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. 

Working Conditions

The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
