Enterprise Research and Analytics is hiring a senior level Digital Reporting Analyst to accelerate the development of a digital dashboard for the new Chief Digital Office. This dashboard will track metrics across the entire enterprise that will help drive U.S. Bank towards digital excellence. As a member of the agile team, you are responsible for delivering upon the vision for the dashboard, working closely with our Enterprise Data Governance and Technology & Operations Services teams.

The applicant will feel at ease querying databases, integrating data from multiple/disparate sources, conducting sophisticated quantitative analyses and presenting their findings as clear, actionable insights and recommendations that enable revenue growth, channel adoption and customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional who is passionate about data and data visualization. They must have strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to understand the business goals/needs, and be committed to delivering data driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations. This position will report to the DIY Dashboard Journey Owner.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Key member of the Agile Team responsible for implementing the dashboard
  • Assist in defining enhancements, EPICs and stories with guidance from the Journey Owner
  • Assist in roadmap and other planning sessions with guidance from the Journey Owner
  • Working through issues and roadblocks, escalating as necessary
  • Working effectively with, Data Governance, IT and risk partners to drive initiatives to completion
  • Delivery of reporting via modern BI tools, specifically PowerBI but alternatively Domo or Tableau
  • Documenting calculations, code, and adhering to data management principles
  • Validating and testing data assets of others in the form of peer review
  • Identify and lead the remediation of key data quality issues impacting the dashboard
  • Participate in the build out of the reporting and technology infrastructure required to support the delivery of insights and reporting.
  • Researches data assets from multiple disparate sources, applies various technologies to find and move data assets for analysis, development of metrics, reports, and statistics.
  • Play an active role with TOS engineers to ensure critical data is available, with quality in the proper platforms with clear SLAs.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as econometrics, computer science, engineering or applied mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of statistics or analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Working knowledge of analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, Excel, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS and others to perform analysis and interpret data
  • Experience in analytics, advanced analytics/statistics, predictive modeling
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
