As a Senior Director Creative Services, you would lead the in-house Creative Services team who is responsible for the intake, management and delivery of requests. You would serve as a brand ambassador on behalf of Prime, ensuring the quality, tone and execution of creative requests align to the company’s brand and creative standards. You would also have the opportunity to collaborate with sales, marketing, client engagement, and other departments to support a variety of design and communication needs for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities;

  • Provide leadership to an established team of creative designers, copywriters, production specialists, account and project managers and ensure the creative services infrastructure supports the delivery of on-strategy, on-brand, and on-brief creative outcomes; develop processes, resources, communications and training to reinforce brand standards and ensure the quality, consistency, and efficacy of creative services 
  • Develop, socialize and oversee the corporate brand and visual image standards for Prime; ensure the best representation of Prime to its key markets, employees and other audiences through all creative and communication channels; socialize corporate brand standards and resources and ensure company-wide adherence to branding for all creative projects 
  • Continuously evaluate, research and advocate for new or changing technology solutions that support the delivery of best in class creative products; proactively identify improvement and efficiency opportunities, both internally, and in partnership with creative vendors, and lead cross functional efforts to streamline creative processes 
  • Develop an ongoing training and development plan for creative staff to learn new tools and techniques that will advance the department and Prime 
  • Oversee the development of print, digital, environmental and corporate collateral, including campaigns, direct mail, formularies, product communications, etc., to meet the marketing needs of Prime and its clients; ensure the development of an effective a project intake, assignment, and finalization process that allows for timely completion of creative requests and verifies that deliverables meet all quality, project and brand standards 
  • Proactively consult with marketing, product and other internal clients to identify, influence, understand and prioritize creative service needs; provide leadership to Prime’s efforts to assign an appropriate, and market attractive name for products and other high visibility initiatives that align to corporate brand standards and enterprise priorities 
  • Oversee Prime’s partnership with external design and print vendors to manage projects, timelines, budget and adherence to brand guidelines; ensure operational metrics are developed, measured, improved and socialized with marketing leadership and leverage department performance statistics to support resource or technology investments 
  • Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders 
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 
  • 10 years of work experience in creative services design, copy, and digital/video production, or a combination of creative and other relevant experience regularly supporting and collaborating with a creative services organization 
  • 7 years of in-house agency (corporate creative) leadership/people management experience 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications:

  • Expert knowledge/understanding of all creative team deliverables including print, digital, video production process 
  • Thorough understanding of the creative design process and applicable project management principles 
  • Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of Prime; effective relationship management skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications 
  • Working knowledge in the marketing of PBM or other managed healthcare services to national and regional managed care organizations, insurance companies, and other health related entities 
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and public speaking skills 
  • Able to work effectively in uncertain, ambiguous situations; ability to balance compliance, business and other competing goals and risks while still driving programs and initiatives to completion 
  • Experience breaking down silos, assessing organizational design and structure and creating a high performing, innovative marketing organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, AfterEffects, Illustrator and Acrobat) 
  • Web design/interactive experience
