ROLE ACCOUNTABILITY:

Direct to Consumer (D2C) (40%)

  • Create and manage global D2C to attain $3M+ revenue goal in first year across multiple brands.
  • Create, communicate, attain, and sustain eCommerce performance measures.
  • Responsible for eCommerce sales budget and managing P&L within established budgetary guidelines.
  • Oversee technical and/or digital marketing agency relationships relevant to our organization’s eCommerce business.
  • Collaborate with retail sales and marketing team to deliver 360 omnichannel growth strategies.
  • Implement and manage lead generation/cultivation, loyalty programming, nurture campaigns, consumer-focused CRM and support systems.
  • Responsible for the migration of all web properties to eCommerce platform.

eCommerce Partnerships (40%)

  • Manage 1P/3P Marketplace strategies and new account development for multiple brands with specific KPIs to attain purposeful year-over-year growth goals.
  • Maximize ROI by fully leveraging marketing investment across all marketplaces including, but not limited to, Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com and others.
  • Oversee digital marketing agency relationships relevant to marketplace marketing investments.

Fulfillment and Compliance (20%)

  • Oversee and manage authorized reseller programs and ensure compliance with MAP and Reseller Policies.
  • Manage fulfillment center operations and staff.

SUCCESS FACTOR SNAPSHOT:

First 30 days

  • Become intimately immersed in our organization and culture.
  • Evaluate current D2C channels to collect facts to develop technical roadmap that will attain forecasted revenue goals.
  • Complete D2C and Marketplace systems training.

First 60 days

  • Determine and recommend appropriate applications or technical agencies to help achieve eCommerce objectives for D2C.
  • Start development of technical roadmap for D2C channels.

First 90 days

  • Develop an overall strategic eCommerce marketing investment strategy to promote our organizations’ products and services to acquire new customers across D2C and Marketplace.
  • Set specific objectives and methods to monitor KPI progress for 1P/3P Marketplace channels.

First 120 days

  • Improve product performance by modifying marketing investment and digital strategies to obtain agreed upon targets for 1P/3P Marketplace channels.
  • Present technical roadmap for D2C channels with budget requirements for 2023 with implementation plan.
  • Develop competitive analysis reporting with monthly distribution.

First 6 months

  • Generate $1.5M in gross revenue via D2C channels.
  • All web properties are migrated and hosted on Shopify or other eCommerce platform.

First 9 months

  • Auto-ship subscriptions drive 25% of D2C eCommerce revenue. 
  • Onboard 2 Authorized Amazon Resellers.

First year

  • Generate $3M+ in gross revenue via D2C eCommerce channels.
  • Manage $20M+ in gross revenue via Marketplace channels.
  • Onboard 5 new Marketplace accounts, domestic and/or international.

Ongoing

  • Generate minimum 25% year-over-year net revenue growth across 1P/3P Marketplace channels.
  • Generate minimum 35% year-over-year net revenue growth via D2C eCommerce channel.
  • Maintain >95% compliance with MAP pricing across all eCommerce channels.
  • Onboard >2 new Marketplace accounts annually, domestic and/or international.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university

Experience and/or Requirements:

  • Directly managed eCommerce business in excess of $20M between D2C and Marketplace channels. 
  • 5+ years of consumer-facing Digital and eCommerce, preferably with fast-growth CPGs and significant experience optimizing SEO, CRO, PPC, ROI, ROAS analytics, and eCommerce marketing investments. 
  • You have played a significant role in building a wildly successful eCommerce brand from “bottom up”, within the last 24 months, and the success formula is transferrable to our brand(s). 
  • You have implemented marketing automation and lead generation, which have increased customer acquisition and brand loyalty. 
  • Clean driving record is a must. 
  • Required Travel: Up to 10% 
  • Manages Others: Up to 3 direct reports 

Background check, pre-employment drug screen and industry non-compete are required. Position may reside at our corporate office in Green Bay, WI or work remotely. No relocation package available.
