SCOPE OF ROLE:

Regal Rexnord is looking for a Senior Events Specialist to join our Global Events Team at our corporate headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. The successful candidate will help lead the planning and execution of high impact meetings, conferences and customer experiences. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in meeting & event planning, communication, vendor management, budgeting and customer centric mindset. This ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, solutions focused, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop event plans, timelines and schedules
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of Conferences, Customer Experiences, Leadership Meetings, and Special Events (in-person, virtual, and hybrid).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define event objectives, target audiences, messaging and branding to execute successful events.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and accurate financial reporting.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with venues, hotels, caterers, A/V providers, and other vendors.
  • Lead attendee Journey from registration portals and travel logistics to on-site flow.
  • Manage event timelines, production schedules, and staffing plans.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and accessibility standards.
  • Mentor and support junior event staff or coordinators as needed.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES:

  • Project Management: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex timelines and multitask across simultaneous events.
  • Project Management experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Budgeting & Negotiation: Managing vendor contracts and staying within budget
  • Marketing Coordination: Collaborating with marketing and creative team for event messaging/branding.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Anticipate challenges; handing real time challenges on-site
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite); Understanding of AV equipment and requirements for meetings and production.
  • Continuous Innovation: Pilot emerging AI tools to automate scheduling, generate creative concepts and optimize spend

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in corporate event planning, with at least 1 year in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale events with 500+ attendees.
  • Strong negotiation, budgeting, and project management skills.
  • Fluency with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint
  • Proficiency with event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Event Apps).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
  • Ability to adjust to varying priorities, must be flexible and able to manage more than one project/task at a time.
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or similar certification preferred.
  • Experience with international events is a plus.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
