The Senior Designer will have primary responsibility to develop concepts and create graphic materials for various print and digital marketing channels.

  • Think creatively and develop new concepts and designs for a variety of print and digital marketing channels, including print collateral, document templates, sell sheets, PowerPoints, email campaigns, landing pages, websites, infographics, social media, etc. 
  • Partner with Marketing team to support partner marketing initiatives while adhering to partner marketing brand standards and guidelines 
  • Partner with Marketing team to align creative visuals across print and digital platforms 
  • Develop and establish print and digital brand standards, guidelines and processes 
  • Periodically refresh brand look and feel to align with marketing initiatives, product launches and on an as needed basis 
  • Manage the review, approval, organization and storage of creative assets across internal and external platforms accordingly 
  • Maintain and follow best practices for versioning and quality control by anticipating feedback and proactively suggesting and implementing changes 
  • Collaborate with other departments and provide strategic recommendations on print and digital design best practices to drive effectiveness of marketing tactics 
  • Assist in development of responsive emails, email templates, landing pages and landing page templates 
  • Research and develop new design styles and techniques Perform other duties as assigned

How Is This Role Important to Our Work?

This position is responsible for creating the visual expression of company-wide brand initiatives including a wide variety of materials and sales collateral. Take concepts into design refinement with hands-on creative design. Develop and enforce brand guidelines rules and templates.

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide creative concepts appropriate to audience and channel; design content for a wide range of formats; apply brand guidelines consistently across all materials. 
  • Collaborate with writers to ensure compelling presentation of content. 
  • Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions; identify opportunities to improve design. 
  • Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement. 
  • Complete self-directed work and complete tasks assigned. 
  • Develop and enforce brand and content guideline rules and templates. 
  • Acts as a resource for others with less experience. 
  • Participate on cross functional projects as subject matter expert or contributor. 
  • Coach, provide feedback, and guide others. 
  • Create an engaged, inclusive team environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Expertise in translating complex subject matter into compelling design. 
  • Deep discipline expertise in design with a portfolio to prove it. 
  • Cross-discipline competence in B2B/B2C marketing. 
  • Track record of being an integral member of a cross-functional marketing team.

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelors degree in design preferred and 4-5 years graphic design experience, both for print and electronic media, or 9 years of graphic design experience, both for print and electronic media in lieu of a degree. 
  • Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of design principles to complete complex assignments. 
  • Expert knowledge of design and intermediate understanding of brand standards, visual communications, production, creative, business and strategic principles, to ensure alignment with strategy. 
  • Outstanding ability to communicate clearly and effectively; strong attention to detail. 
  • Advanced capability to prioritize projects and juggle changing priorities while working under tight deadlines. 
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Working knowledge of both Mac and Windows platforms.
