Senior Graphic Designer

Dakota Supply Group (DSG) is looking for a versatile Senior Graphic Designer who loves to make the world a more beautiful place and is passionate about design. Our multi-disciplinary in-house team is responsible for setting the creative expression for DSG. The way the brand expresses itself—the branding —is the face and voice of DSG. What we do is a balancing act of commerce and creativity, business needs and aesthetic intelligence, brand heritage expertise, and forward-looking trend awareness.

As a Designer, you will…Develop and execute creative concepts and visual assets for our customer and brand experience (examples could include advertisements, seasonal campaigns, social media, illustrations, photography, digital experience, video storyboard, websites, print collateral, and in-store experience including POP displays and even vehicle wraps.) This is a salaried, exempt position that is bonus eligible. Work may be performed fully remote or in a hybrid on-site/remote environment within the Plymouth, MN branch.

• You know and understand production specifications for both print and digital media

• You work well under minimal supervision 
• You are experienced with overseeing and managing vendors while working closely with outside partners to form productive, creative partnerships; not limited to, production artists, photographers, web developers, and printers 
• You have the ability to work within standard office practices and are willing to learn new project management software to increase the overall efficiency of the team

Requirements of a successful Senior Graphic Designer:

• College degree (BFA, BA, or AAS) in design, graphic arts, or related field 
• 8-15 years of related experience, preferably in an agency (or equivalent) 
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, etc. 
• Extensive knowledge of and experience working in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint 
• Ability to multitask, take initiative, work efficiently, and be flexible when quick turnaround projects come up 
• Ability to see other people's points of view and receive criticism

Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Graphic Designer:

• Understanding of responsive web design patterns, best practices, and UX, UI 
• Photography experience 
• Familiarity/experience with Premiere 
• Experience with HubSpot and RoboHead
