The Senior Graphic Designer should be a diligent project manager whose portfolio demonstrates design challenges where this person was able to shift priorities while staying impeccably organized. This person is a creative visionary and loves creating new ideas and tailoring designs to draw the attention of various buyers while maintaining brand identity and guidelines. The Senior Graphic Designer should be team-oriented and welcomes input and feedback from team members, and is willing to roll up their sleeves no matter the task. This person should also be multi-faceted; from building and updating brand guidelines to HTML email to print brochure to video, this person should be passionate about all things marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead design and execution of marketing materials plan across all channels and mediums including website, email, social media, digital/print media, etc. 
  • Manage internal and external resources to set and meet expectations of sales and marketing teams 
  • Deliver marketing collateral materials on schedule and on budget 
  • Provide creative guidance on graphic execution ideas 
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedule timelines 
  • Determine the photography, art or other design elements to be used on projects 
  • Research and provide recommendations based on best practices, as well as industry and consumer trends 
  • Offer a confident creative point of view and work collaboratively with multiple teams while building relationships with creative partners, marketing teams, photographers, etc. 
  • Design marketing literature, packaging and POS 
  • Update and maintain image library based on product changes 
  • Manage collateral (literature and merchandising materials) production and delivery 
  • Coordinate translation requests (i.e. English to French and/or Spanish) 
  • Review proof documents for accuracy, including packaging and printing materials 
  • Work closely with team members in Asia to coordinate and create product packaging concepts and materials 
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to develop pitch and presentation decks 
  • Flexibility to perform all other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or equivalent education and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 7 years of relevant graphic design experience 
  • Knowledge in all aspects of graphic design: layout, typography, color theory and production processes 
  • Proven project management skills 
  • Experience in the design of marketing materials (print and electronic) 
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe suite of products (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) 
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress, and CRM/marketing systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent 
  • Strong command of the oral and written English language for copyediting 
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines at the same time 
  • Confidence to work autonomously 
  • Flexibility and capability of adapting to change and dealing with uncertainty 
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Understanding the importance of working within brand guidelines 
  • Experience in managing the print production of marketing materials with outside vendors 
  • Experience working at or with a creative agency is preferred but not required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite 
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with all levels of the organization 
  • Willingness to cooperate and accept added responsibilities 
  • Determination with a “roll up your sleeves” initiative to get the job done
