Cision is looking for a Senior Manager of Marketing Automation & Technology to join the Marketing Operations Team. This person’s primary responsibilities will include managing marketing technology and complex system integrations. They will also support audience segmentation and database governance. The ideal candidate is technically inclined, logic oriented, and data savvy. They will report to Cision’s Global Director of Marketing Operations.

Lead strategic cross-functional MOps initiatives including onboarding new marketing technologies and major system or process updates:

  • Requirement gathering and documentation 
  • Project management and stakeholder communication 
  • Alignment with IT and Web Operations Platform configuration and integrations 
  • End user training and enablement 

Strategically implement, manage, and troubleshoot integrations across our MarTech stack:

  • Manage automated syncs between Eloqua and four regional Salesforce instances 
  • Oversee complex lead creation programs 
  • Ensure seamless integrations between our websites and Eloqua / MarTech tools

Own and manage select MarTech tools:

  • Advocate for platform adoption 
  • Support new use cases defined by Marketing teams 
  • Manage users and licenses 
  • Audit usage and make contract renewal recommendations 

Support advancements in audience segmentation and promote database health and governance:

  • Identify best data sources and integrations for evolving marketing segmentation needs 
  • Support data enrichment and contact acquisition strategies 
  • Perform data manipulation to manage dirty or incomplete data 
  • Monitor contact database health and implement database management best practices 
  • Help ensure our processes and programs are compliant with privacy and consent laws
  • 5+ years of technical Eloqua experience including integration management, complex operational programs, and segment configuration 
  • 3+ years of implementing and managing MarTech tools (beyond core MAP) 
  • Experiencing managing large-scale cross-functional MOps initiatives 
  • Strong Excel skills related to data transformation and analysis 
  • Understanding of the SaaS business model and B2B Marketing funnel
