The Senior Manager, Marketing Excellence will be responsible for building industry-leading biosimilar / branded-like marketing capabilities across several commercial functions and directly contribute to Fresenius Kabi Biosimilar Franchise’s long-term organizational success.

  • Serve as subject-matter expert by leveraging deep pharma/biopharma marketing, cross-functional brand, and in-line and launch experience with our stakeholders while providing a strong ability to communicate effectively, drive organizational change and influence without authority. 
  • Define and ensure integration of new marketing skills, tools and processes while managing and influencing change, identifying future organizational needs, providing strategic consultancy to brand teams, assessing resourcing requirements, managing projects, and evaluating impact. 
  • Engage with brand teams to pull through new capabilities through skill building and strategic consulting.
  • Be empowered to also serve as cross-functional partner and support across Marketing Leadership, Learning and Leadership Development, Human Resources, Marketing Operations, and other cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain Marketing Excellence capabilities roadmap to deliver needed capabilities (people development, processes, technology) for the success of the organization. 
  • Partner as strategic consultant for all levels of Marketing within Brand Teams and Payer Marketing Access team and Medical team across all U.S. business Biosimilar Therapeutic areas.
  • Lead and manage commercial processes such as, but not limited to: brand planning, strategic launch planning, multichannel execution, competitive readiness, etc. 
  • Be a trusted partner to the brand teams for pull-through and application of marketing frameworks and tools through workshops and curriculum including, but not limited to: segmentation, positioning, patient flow, investment planning, measurement, etc. 
  • Partner with cross-functional partners who touch critical commercial processes. 
  • Communicate and align priorities through governance and organizational change initiatives across the business. 
  • Manage and report the Brand Quarterly Business Reviews, Launch Readiness Reviews, and Brand Planning milestones to ensure progress and success is demonstrated.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent experience preferred. 
  • Must be strategic, collaborative, have excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize projects. 
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of pharmaceutical marketing experience with at least five (5+) years of direct people leadership/management experience across Global and U.S. and marketing. Pharmaceutical sales and Learning & Development (L&D) experience is a plus. 
  • Comprehensive understanding and application of pharmaceutical marketing/commercialization methods & techniques, tools and concepts. (e.g. market research, strategic planning, multichannel execution, consumer and HCP marketing, etc.) and demonstrated launch and in-line brand growth experiences. 
  • Demonstrated experience in foundational marketing processes such as segmentation, positioning, competitive readiness, Multi-Channel Marketing (MCM), etc. 
  • Biosimilar experience preferred. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
