Fast Horse, an award-winning, integrated creative agency, is hiring a Senior Media Relations Manager to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate will haveat least four years of experience working in media relations and a proven history of developing and executing successful publicity campaigns on a local and national level. Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to creative ideation within an integrated team 
  • Assist with developing media relations strategies and campaign plans 
  • Draft media materials including key messaging, Q&A documents, press releases and fact sheets 
  • Contribute to risk assessments 
  • Develop sophisticated media lists that detail multiple pitch angles 
  • Uncover story opportunities where nobody else is looking 
  • Conduct media outreach, building relationships with key reports across local, national and global outlets 
  • Provide on-site support at music, sports, entertainment and other events 
  • Monitor for media coverage and provide client updates 
  • Participate in agency marketing and new business efforts 
  • Stay up to date on the latest in the media industry, alerting and educating the agency on developments that could affect our clients 
  • Contribute to a culture and environment that fosters professional and personal growth for all employees

We’re searching for someone with the tenacity to drive day-to-day media relations initiatives, including developing campaigns, writing media materials, identifying media targets, conducting media outreach and leading coverage analysis.We partner with some of the world’s best-known companies like Coca-Cola, Heineken and General Mills on some of their most visible brand campaigns but are just as passionate about theniche projects we bring to life for our B2B clients. Celebrity campaigns, experiential activations, influencer integrations, thought leadership; it’s all on the table as you lock arms with an integrated team that puts ideas ahead of egos.

This job is best suited for someone who has worked at an agency or in-house driving media coverage for companies, brands, executives – or better yet – all three. Keeping up with the changing media landscape and pop culture trends across industries is a must, as is forming relationships with key reporters across a variety of verticals. We’re looking for candidates who are obsessed with securing results, and creatively bobbing and weaving throughout a campaign to ensure coverage. If you’ve ever repeatedly refreshed a browser until the page was updated with campaign coverage, you’re in good company.
