Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a professional, creative, open office environment, with business casual attire. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours and will average 2,300 hours per year. Great flexibility in your schedule is both required of you and returned to you due to our many project deadlines. Out of town travel is possible, but expected to be minimal.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator will be a part of the centralized Client Services (CS) Team. The CS Team supports Kahler Slater with marketing, public relations, communications, new business development, client retention and graphics services. This person will work closely with other senior marketing staff and firm principals on proposal development and design along with additional marketing and new business development related projects.
This position requires extremely strong organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and decision-making skills coupled with strong graphic design skills. This fast-paced position requires a team player that will take initiative and ownership of his/her areas of responsibility. A detail-oriented individual is a must. Applicants with two years of marketing experience within the architectural, engineering or construction industry are strongly desired.
Self-Directed Duties and Responsibilities (to support Health Care and Higher Education teams):
- Artfully compose proposals and other client facing materials (designing, editing and production)
- Write proposal copy which is technical, strategic and creative
- Organize new business development and marketing-related meetings
- Take initiative to learn about the individuals, clients and potential clients important to the Health Care and Higher Education teams
- Understand projects, client types and market demands
- Create and update staff resumes
- Manage client and contact database, both new entries and updates
- Be responsible for assisting with tracking conference dates, preparing submissions and registrations, assisting with speakers’ proposals and logistics, coordinating staffing and materials
Shared Duties and Responsibilities (with team/peers):
- Provide new and updated content for the Kahler Slater website
- Complete industry surveys and directory information
- Support Senior Marketing Strategists in all client work when time permits (focus groups, experience audits, visioning sessions, graphic design projects, special event planning, announcements, etc.)
Working Relationships and Scope:
- Reports to the Director of Client Services
- Works closely with all other CS and Graphics team members
- Works closely with Health Care and Higher Education team leaders
- Interacts with internal clients, external clients and partners
