This position primarily supports the Healthcare segment, but may also support our other sectors as needed. In this role, the senior marketing coordinator works closely with the Marketing Manager, marketing team, Director of Marketing, Market Sector Leaders, Principals, Project Managers and/or Business Developers.

The Senior Marketing Coordinator manages the creation and preparation of proposals, presentations and marketing collateral in support of regional business development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leads the proposal process, managing all aspects of that proposal as well as providing overall quality assurance
  2. Reads and analyzes RFPs and edits proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements, minimizing style differences from multiple authors and contributors
  3. Participate in the go/no-go decisions
  4. Responsible for the proposal kick-off meetings/plans and setting a proposal strategy with Principals / Market Sector Leaders / Project Managers and/or BD’s
  5. Responsible for leading and coordinating internal marketing review of all collateral to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness
  6. Meets proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval
  7. Serves as lead on proposals, brochures and other marketing collateral
  8. Works with the project team to determine strategy for photography and develop a shot list to support upcoming marketing efforts/story.
  9. Mentors and manages strong working relationships with staff to ensure proposal input is accurate, compelling and timely
  10. Provides word-processing, desktop publishing and graphic design skills to produce proposals and presentations following HGA standards
  11. Attend local industry events and build relationships with consultants and other marketing peers

PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, mass media or other related field or required. 
  • A minimum of eight years of related work experience in proposal and presentation development, preferably within the architecture or engineering fields. 
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP and interview preparation process (knowledge of architectural and/or engineering fields a plus) 
  • Excellent copywriting/editing skills and attention to detail. 
  • The ability to translate technical program elements into a story-telling style narrative is a plus. 
  • Top notch organizational, prioritization, problem-solving, multi-tasking and decision-making skills 
  • Strong graphic design abilities and proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (predominantly InDesign, with working knowledge of Illustrator, and Photoshop) 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and remain cool under pressure 
  • A team player showing initiative and ownership of his/her areas of responsibility 
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision and Constant Contact a plus, but not required
