Listed as Inc 5000's #301 fastest growing privately-held company, 8bitcreative/Detailers Roadmap, seeks an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our content execution and activation efforts for our WAAS (Website As A Service) offering, Detailers Roadmap. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strategy and execution and is looking to build a department with budgets and onboard new internal personnel.

In this pivotal role, you will shape and drive the strategy behind our customer retention, social media, email marketing, podcast, and video content, ensuring we deliver a seamless, engaging, and impactful experience for our partners. You will oversee the development and implementation of our digital marketing campaigns, while also exploring new technologies and approaches to keep us at the forefront of the automotive detailing industry.

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Lead Content Strategy: Craft and oversee a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand voice and core values, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all channels, including social media, email, podcast, and video. 
  • Manage Digital Campaigns: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions for our clients and internal initiatives.
  • Oversee Content Execution & Activation: Spearhead content creation and activation, including social media posts, email marketing campaigns, podcast episodes, and video production, ensuring all content is on-brand, engaging, and strategically aligned. 
  • Email Marketing & Nurture Campaigns: Develop and implement advanced email marketing strategies that include short, medium, and long-term nurture campaigns, leveraging tools like Go High Level to maximize reach and impact. 
  • Podcast & Video Content Management: Lead the creation, scheduling, and promotion of podcast episodes and video content, working closely with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality, engaging content. 
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, track, and report on the performance of all digital marketing activities, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize future campaigns and strategies. 
  • Innovation & Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of the latest trends and innovations in digital marketing, social media, and content creation, and proactively propose new ideas to elevate our brand presence and marketing effectiveness. 
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and provide leadership, guidance, and support to junior team members.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment. 
  • In-house attendance in our office in Brookfield, Wisconsin; Tuesday through Thursday. Monday and Friday are work-from-home days. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels. 
  • Strong expertise in social media management, email marketing, and content creation (including video and podcast production). 
  • Experience with email or automation marketing platforms (e.g., Go High Level, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Keap) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social) is a plus, but not required. 
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and a creative mindset. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. Experience in the automotive or detailing industry is a plus, but not required.
