Position Details

Senior Marketing Representative - Brand Management
Southeast Wisconsin
Oconomowoc, WI

As a Senior Marketing Representative - Brand Management your primary focus will be on the bank's visual identify and overall management of our brand. You'll work with our award-winning marketing team to manage, plan, and execute short and long-term business plans and marketing initiatives involving retail lending and other business lines as needed. You will assist our Marketing Director with the development of the Bank’s strategic marketing plan, and aid in helping to define and maintain the organization’s customer experience.

A Day in the Life:


Responsible for maintaining the brand’s integrity across all marketing initiatives with an in-house approach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of the brand and its position in the market.
  • Developing branding strategies and communicate recommendations to executives alongside Marketing Director
  • Leading the creative development and design of advertisements, promotional items, and mail campaigns to ensure consistency (signs, newspaper ads, digital ads, banners, billboards, etc.)
  • Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability
  • Analyzing the success of campaigns and developing ways to improve brand recognition
  • Maintaining the development of the corporate brand manual (logo, color scheme, design elements, fonts, imagery, etc.)
  • Assisting with interior design decisions and branch exteriors as it relates to the brand
  • Staying current on market trends and competitive activity
  • Maintaining business card program through QRG
  • Maintaining email signature program though Dynasend Graphic 

Design: Responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate information by strategically combining design elements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Designing and creating high quality annual reports for stakeholders
  • Designing and building monthly board report for Marketing team
  • Designing visual materials for other departments (PowerPoints, flyers, debit cards, credit cards, mascot banking cards, etc.)
  • Designing and printing materials for board of directors or company events (PowerPoints, invites, place cards, menus, etc.)
  • Creating logos and collateral for strategic partnerships like the Wisconsin State FairTaking part in any rebranding efforts that are presented to Marketing
  • Completing other responsibilities that may be assigned as deemed appropriate by the Marketing Director 

Retail Lending Marketing: This position owns the relationship between Marketing and Retail Lending. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • On-boarding new lenders (press releases, website, headshots, business cards, etc.)
  • Creating marketing materials, stationery and promotional items (PowerPoints, open house flyers, co-branded materials, thank you cards, pens, etc.)
  • Creating traditional and digital advertising (postcards, newspaper ads, digital ads, etc.)
  • Providing seminar and event support
  • Tracking mortgage budget and submitting invoices
  • Adding marketing approved flyers to CRM – Mortgage Returns
  • Managing NMLS Directory on website
  • Managing mortgage catalog on Employee Store
  • Overseeing branding and compliance for lending team initiatives
  • Updating mortgage rates on reader boards and managing software
  • Updating branding on external sites like Consumer Connect and CRM
  • On-boarding and supporting the lending team on social media 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the planning and coordinating of corporate events such as the holiday party, summer picnic, all-employee meeting, customer appreciation day(s), department events, and partner events with other organizations
  • Working knowledge of, and ability to perform in part, job responsibilities of other team members in the marketing department as needed

Required Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in graphic design, brand management or brand marketing 
  • BA/BS degree in marketing, business, communications or related field 
  • Exceptional graphic design skills with a strong portfolio 
  • Exceptional skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Exceptional skills with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
  • Basic understanding of advertising financial industry rules and regulations 

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred 
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design, brand management or brand marketing 
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Premier 
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
