The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating Business Development, Sales and Product marketing initiatives, as well as defining audience-appropriate tactics and distribution channels. This position collaborates with cross functional partners to bring an integrated and strategic approach to sales support and communications planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners and stakeholders to understand Prime’s business objectives, product offerings, client utilization/adoption and history, and intended market positioning; translate these business insights into marketing strategies and create messaging that is clear, defensible and differentiates Prime and our products and services in the market 
  • Define and execute audience-specific marketing plans and tactics designed to drive key messages to internal audiences, Prime clients, employer groups, consultants, physicians, pharmacists/retail pharmacies and members; tactics may include direct mail, email, text, web and social media, newsletters, presentations, webinars, outbound call campaigns, IVR messaging, blogs, podcasts, videos or similar approaches 
  • Work with Creative Services to ensure all communications are in alignment with Prime’s brand and messaging guidelines, and strategic objectives 
  • Work with internal and external customers to prioritize requests and manage resources 
  • Manage development and execution of initiatives to ensure timing, budget and tactical objectives are met; tactics include sell sheets, sales briefs, presentations, sales tool kits, web content, conference presentations, member letters, direct mail, emails, text messages, etc. 
  • May monitor and track competitive landscape for product/service category 
  • May lead Marketing efforts related to product materials and campaigns, business development and sales (including Request for Proposal)
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 
  • 5 years of work experience in related marketing roles, including business development support, product marketing and/or marketing project management 
  • Experience designing marketing campaigns for both business-to-business and business-to-consumer audiences 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to create results from designing promotional programs and communication strategies 
  • Experience creating marketing and promotional programs for service offerings/information products 
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the health insurance or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) industry

Minimum Physical Job Requirements:

  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear 
  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms 
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch 
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to a Manager in the Marketing department
