Position Description:

As a Senior Marketing Specialist your role will be to develop and implement complex and highly visible marketing projects across multiple business functions for a specific business segment with responsibilities that include merchandising, social media and website content to improve brand engagement, preference and sell-through. Evaluates marketing needs for specific products and channels and shares recommendations to cross-functional teams.

You will do this by:

  • Partnering directly with Marketing management to create campaigns and programs that support the sale of company products 
  • Working with internal resources and external agencies to create marketing collateral, including social media content, blog content, brochures and videos 
  • Developing, monitoring and communicating project timelines and budgets 
  • Leading the development of communication strategies and executes across an integrated marketing communications plan 
  • Writing, editing, and proofing copy for marketing communications such as product packaging, printed collateral, merchandising, digital content, advertising, customer presentations and press releases 
  • Evaluating channel marketing needs, making recommendations to management 
  • Planning and helping to execute trade shows and events 
  • Performing competitive analysis and uses data to create marketing plans 
  • Providing guidance and overseeing work of colleagues with less experience 
  • Performing other duties as assigned

You are the type of person who is/has:

  • Strong understanding of business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing practices, digital marketing and customer online experience, durable goods and retail sales channels 
  • Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects independently; ability to take the lead and drive successful completion of projects 
  • Ability to communicate (verbal, written) and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment 
  • Team-oriented 
  • Ability to provide guidance to other team members 
  • Strong initiative for efficiency and problem solving 
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of five years of experience in Marketing or related field
