Senior Marketing Specialist

Accurex specializes in energy-efficient kitchen ventilation systems – for restaurants and other foodservice establishments. Our kitchen ventilation products provide a complete system solution that results in an efficient, balanced building for customers and employees. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Specialist to join our team. The Sr. Marketing Specialist will assist in driving strategic planning and execution as well as drive innovation throughout our efforts. As a Sr. Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that align with the Accurex brand, engage customers and support the growth and expansion of Accurex products and services. A successful candidate for this position will have strong attention to detail, be passionate in their field, have exceptional communication skills, be motivated, self-driven, imaginative, and authentic.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager in development of long-term brand and market planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales to develop, manage and measure effective sales and marketing programs, employee/customer training, collateral, tradeshows, etc.
  • Develop effective marketing, customer and brand strategies to profitably grow targeted segments and lead to Accurex being the supplier of choice
  • Understand and assess market changes and competitive positions
  • Leverage CRM and other digital information to automate, measure and deploy marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure that all sales and marketing initiatives are integrated and leverage digital technology as it makes sense for the customer - web/social/customer relationship platforms
  • Leverage analytics reporting to deliver insight to management and drive business responses.
  • Manage external creative agency relationships and budgets.
  • Develop and manage plans around digital efforts including, social, website development, optimization plans, search rankings, online reviews, video and internal/external tools
  • Actively network within and outside of the industry to identify and introduce new technologies and ideas
  • Manage media and industry partner relationships
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with internal customers
  • Develop and manage content strategies and plans
  • Proofread and manage revisions to marketing materials ensuring consistency across tactics and uphold brand standards
  • Collaboratewith Sales, Product and Engineering teams to produce best-in-class assets 
  • Manage communication with sales team on available assets and needs
  • Evaluate marketing communications programsand coordinate market research
  • Oversee preparations for the Accurex tradeshows and national sales meetings
  • Maintain familiarity with both Accurex and the competitor's products and marketing strategies
  • Meet established deadlines for assigned projects and proactively inform stakeholders of project status and updates
  • Manage the tactical execution of the marketing plan, including the development of project timelines and budget tracking
  • Manage sales team assets and tools to ensure up to date information is readily available 
  • +5 years of progressively more responsible work experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • + 5 years experience in marketing including social, digital and tradeshows
  • Experience working collaboratively in a B2B environment
  • Strong project manager with ability to work under deadlines
  • Collaborate with external resources such as agencies, freelancers and remote co-workers
  • Experience with marketing media areas including digital, social and traditional media
  • Familiarization with digital platforms, Google Analytics, SEO and best practices for content, email and social 
  • Some travel required (5-10%)
  • Basic Microsoft and Adobe experience required
