Position Overview:

The Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist – Paid Media is an exciting opportunity to plan, execute, manage, and optimize digital advertising initiatives that drive high-quality leads, new customer growth, and exemplify digital best practices and innovation. This person will work closely with outside agency, trade publications and cross - functional teams comprised of Product Marketing Managers, Developers, Content and Creative Managers to execute best-in-class campaigns that align with business objectives.

Specific Duties Include:

Paid Search – Google & Bing (60%)

  • Work with Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to manage external paid search agency
  • Review/audit performance of paid search initiatives
  • Identify opportunities in budget allocation, campaign structure, and keyword research
  • Provide competitive analysis of paid media from key competitors
  • Assist in the execution of A/B tests for ad copy and landing pages
  • Collaborate with Sr. Digital Marketing Specialist - Inbound on relationship of SEM & SEO

Digital Media – Trade Publications (20%)

  • Work with Product Marketing Managers to strategically plan, develop, and optimize digital advertising campaigns that align to company objectives
  • Own yearly budget planning assigning budget to media vendors and trade publications with highest performing marketing tactics
  • Work with vendor partners and trade publications to test and measure the efficiency of various digital campaigns
  • Understand how digital fits within and impacts larger marketing mix to ensure an integrated marketing campaigns

Reporting (20%)

  • Collaborate with Senior Digital Marketing Specialist – Inbound to develop monthly and quarterly reports
  • Utilize Google Analytics to assess performance of digital marketing campaigns

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of digital media experience 
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition 
  • Strong project management/organizational skills – ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple programs 
  • Self-starter who asks questions, learns quickly, who likes to problem solve 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Up-to-date on latest trends and best practices in digital marketing

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) 
  • Management of CMS platform for building web pages and landing pages (Wordpress, Umbraco, Adobe Experience Manager, etc.) 
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools (Optimizely, Google Optimize, AB Tasty, etc.) 
  • Experience managing/structuring UTMs
