Senior Motion Designer and Storyteller

Nexamp is looking for an outstanding Digital Storyteller who can expertly leverage knowledge and skills inmotion designandcinematographyto tell compelling visual stories — coming to life through video, web content and presentations. Supporting the priorities of Nexamp, the storyteller plays a critical role in telling our story and deepening engagement with our mission, vision and values through compelling content.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help Nexamp amplify the way that we tell our story in a way that informs and engages target audiences 
• Be part of a small creative team and a key player in rolling out a brand refresh 
• Develop compelling stories that help define our products, people, customers and mission, working across multiple mediums, including but not limited to infographics, presentations, video, and web content 
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders inside and outside the company to bring complex concepts to life in a visually engaging and easy-to-understand format, providing strategic insights on format and style 
• Establish and develop the visual language for infographics and presentations, developing reusable design tools that helps to easily and consistently amplify our stories 
• Manage the design process from start to finish, including concept development, managing feedback and prioritizing the workload on assigned projects 
• Promote strategic thinking and commercial awareness

• Background in Motion Graphic Design/Animation or related fields 
• Working knowledge of industry-standard tools: the ability to edit video with relevant software and experience with the production of high-quality video content 
• Exceptional storyteller and a strong attention to detail 
• Strong graphic design fundamentals (i.e. typography, color theory, hierarchy, contrast, and grid / alignments) 
• A portfolio showcasing your best creative work 
• Undergraduate studies in art, visual design, communications, advertising or related creative services field 
• You are a proactive, self-motivated team player and are open to exploring new approaches and ideas 
• Strong written and verbal and presentation skills 
• The ability to deliver against tight timelines, while managing multiple work priorities 
• Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint)
