Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

We’re committed to delivering effective growth marketing and paid marketing services for a diverse range of clients. We’re looking for a performance marketing manager who can understand clients' challenges, map out winning strategies and drive business results for established and new brands.

In this role, you’ll be a part of a growing team that primarily focuses on driving direct response site conversions but also helping define complex marketing problems and developing full-funnel marketing approaches as necessary.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Management & Execution: Lead, oversee and support best-in-class campaign setups, optimizations, reporting, and analysis, focusing on improving direct response results across search, shopping, and social platforms
  • Client Management: Be the main point of client contact and help effectively and efficiently manage day to day responsibilities and workflow of client deliverables internally and externally. Opportunity to engage and work with senior leadership - from Investors and C-Suite executives - to help identify and build effective growth strategies
  • Thought-Leadership & Growth: Recommend changes to websites and apps, offering recommendations to improve conversion rates and reduce friction on the customer journey. Brainstorm and execute new ways to improve cost per acquisition, lifetime value and revenue numbers. Continuously think outside the box to improve performance and ability to wear many hats

What success looks like:

  • You establish and maintain long-lasting genuine and transparent relationships with our clients by deeply understanding their complex daily challenges and by developing meaningful, actionable insights
  • You continuously meet set goals and targets for up to 10 clients while optimizing for client budgets and deadlines
  • You solve complex marketing problems using data as inspiration to develop actionable strategies
  • You can quickly execute performance marketing campaigns with compelling copy that is error-free and troubleshoot account performance issues
Skills and qualities we look for:
  • Ideally 4-8 years of digital media planning and performance marketing experience primarily focusing on setting up and optimizing campaigns within Google and/or Facebook platforms. Additional platforms and channels are a plus
  • You have a passionate, tireless drive to succeed with the ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • You’re comfortable with the unknown, are hungry to learn and try new things, both in terms of your own skill set, and in terms of the ideas we bring to clients, and have an ownership mentality
  • You have an insistent curiosity and inability to leave a problem alone until you’ve found one or many strategies that can be put into action
  • You’re a confident communicator and relationship builder, including the ability to hold people accountable and have difficult conversations
  • You’re a confident decision-maker with a sharp eye for detail, and ready to build relationships with clients and vendors.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail with sharp organizational skills and the ability to hit delivery deadlines.
  • You’re strong on the Google platform with experience in building account structures and optimizing performance for Shopping & Search Campaigns.
  • You have experience building, connecting, optimizing and troubleshooting data feeds in Google Merchant Center
  • You’re highly proficient in Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics, Excel / Google Sheets, PowerPoint / Google Slides / Pitch.
  • You have a strong direct-response background, driving relevant business results for clients and a thorough understanding of best-in-class practices in these tactics You can identifying high-value marketing insights, make actionable decisions and use them to create winning strategies

Additional skills that would be great:

  • High proficiency in Shopify, Google Tag Manager, Copywriting
  • Experience with SQL, SEO, Programmatic, Display and Email Marketing

Compensation: $80,000 plus bonus potential
