Senior PR Associate

Mueller Communications, a well-established and highly regarded communications and marketing firm, is looking to meet experienced senior level candidates to add to its talented team of professionals. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop strategy and manage teams to execute, participate in new business development efforts, and counsel clients through communications challenges from crises to product launches to awareness-building campaigns.

Mueller Communications’ clients have high expectations and we are looking for another A-player to join us in exceeding those expectations. We take a collaborative problem-solving approach and this position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of and leading close-knit teams and is looking to grow themselves and others through mentorship and challenging client work.

What you’ll be doing:

Project Management & Operations (Internal)

• Coordinate or lead client team activities such as projections, monthly planning, regular internal client reviews
• Demonstrate ownership over setting, managing and achieving big picture goals for the client

Client Management (External)

• Monitor engagement with clients to ensure Mueller team is acting as trusted counselors and partners, proactively providing clients with timely, useful, trusted information
• Demonstrate the ability to present recommended solutions to client challenges, as well as forward-thinking, proactive growth opportunities

Business Development | Entrepreneurial Mindset

• Demonstrate ability to translate brainstorms and big ideas into additional client programs or tactics
• Develop draft client strategies, annual plans or enhancements and additions to current plans

Qualifications that will make you stand out:

• 4-5+ years of PR or communications experience
• Positive, problem-solving attitude
• Strong writing and management skills
• An eagerness to learn
• Prior agency or media experience a plus
