Demco has served education communities and libraries for more than 115 years and is the leading source for products and solutions that support lifelong learning and enrichment. Demco is seeking qualified candidates for our Senior Product Managerrole, focusing on our Supplies & Equipment line within the general education market.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will:

  • Be the voice of our customers, communicating their wants and wishes to the organization 
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop ideas from product conception to launch 
  • Wwork directly with marketing, sales, supply chain, and customer success teams to ensure we’re offering the right product to our customers 
  • Evolve our business model to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers

Qualifications:

  • A 4-year college degree in business, marketing, or a related field of study
  • At least seven years of business-to-business experience managing a product line alongside a diverse team of professionals with varying roles 
  • Experience using pragmatic marketing techniques to establish and evolve a product portfolio 
  • Experience working in the general education markets, preferably developing supplies and/or equipment product lines 
  • Financial acumen 
  • Proficiency in MS Office products 
  • Ability to travel within the United States when deemed safe

Successful Candidates Will:

  • Be obsessed with understanding customer needs and wants 
  • Have a clear vision and will effectively translate that vision to actionable items that teams can rally around 
  • Pivot naturally and quickly based on customer and market needs 
  • Understand the value of building strong relationships with key suppliers and uses these relationships to better the business

This position offers a base salary plus eligibility for annual bonus. Base salary will vary based on experience.
