Motion is seeking a Senior Social Media Account Supervisor who will be largely responsible for the day-today execution and coordination of specific social marketing programs and projects, on a wide array of B2B and B2C clients.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver and a social native at heart. They are knowledgeable on all key social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, as well as informed and inquisitive about new emerging platforms. Candidates should be nimble and will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating on the go, all while being a quick thinker and having no fear when asked to bring innovative solutions to the table.

  • Handles day-to-day client interactions in a proactive, knowledgeable, and responsive way on daily account work rooted in solid strategic guidance and sound social best practices. 
  • Serves as the client’s main point of contact on social specific accounts, forming strong client relationships, presenting recommendations to clients, and helping to manage social media related deliverables. 
  • Oversees the creation of content that is optimized for each social platform and its intended audience. 
  • Gathers research and data needed to formulate tactical plans, developments, and recommendations for clients. 
  • Presents program outlines, platform strategies, project ideas, and creative concepts to clients in an effective, personable, and insightful manner. 
  • Has a strong working financial knowledge. Able to develop annual budgets, forecast revenue, and review billing and hourly projections for clients. 
  • Effectively monitors cross-channel brand health and brand reputation via social conversations (alongside a wider team of community management personnel) on all platforms necessary for specific account(s). 
  • Manages and tracks paid social promotional campaigns across necessary and applicable platforms. 
  • Creates quarterly, weekly, and monthly reporting of project status/results; analyzes data and provides sound insights on strategies and optimizations moving forward. 
  • Manages all internal communications and projects as it relates to client needs. This includes directing Designers to apply client feedback to creative deliverables. 
  • Becomes thoroughly educated on relevant client industries, applicable influencers in each industry, product information, competitive landscape, and overall trendspotting for proactive/reactive timely social activations. 
  • Primary party responsible for pulling data and research components needed for new business pitches.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, or Integrated Communications 
  • 6+ years of social media experience required with deep comprehension of paid social platform planning 
  • Mastery of social platforms 
  • Demonstrated expertise in core MS platforms such as Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Presentation skills are a must 
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent project management and organization skills 
  • Ability to work successfully with teams on multiple projects under tight deadlines 
  • Proven leadership ability 
  • Demonstrates initiative and desire to expand personal knowledge to better client practices 
  • Collaborative approach/attitude to internal and external scenarios
