Role and Responsibilities:

With a human-centric approach, the Senior Strategist is focused on leading brands by leveraging Soulsight’s strategy toolbox for maximized brand relevancy. The Senior Strategist leads by example, always holding themselves to the highest standards. Treating every initiative as a growth and development opportunity, they adapt and evolve with a positive attitude. Driven to always make things better, they proactively look for new opportunities to optimize our ways of working.

Responsible for strategic initiatives including the development of:

  • nomenclature for a new brand, sub-brand, flavor, or form. written concepts that serve as the verbal introduction for a brand, product, or service. 
  • product idea statements that verbally articulate a new product idea through its functional attributes. 
  • product, flavor, and form pipelines that illustrate the scalability of an opportunity. 
  • brand platforms that define a big idea opportunity built upon a trend and/or compelling insight. 
  • brand positioning that clearly defines the role of brands in the lives of consumers. 
  • brand mission statements that reinforce the brand's attributes, beliefs and behaviors. 
  • brand architectures and portfolio strategies that position and organize brands in a way that maximizes brand potential.

Responsible for creative copywriting including the development of:

  • brand narratives that capture the compelling story which connects the brand name to the brand’s purpose. 
  • headlines inspired by an approved communication strategy. 
  • taglines that effectively capture the brand’s purpose, vision, mission, or benefit.

Create thought leadership pieces including:“Insight into Action” articles that put a spotlight on recent product launches and category trends with actionable takeaways.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 
  • 4-7 years of relevant agency experience 
  • Experience managing a team 
  • Experience managing brands
