The Department of Natural Resources is hiring two SharePoint / Web Publishers (IS Business Automation Senior classification) within the Division of Environmental Management. These positions will be stationed in our central office, located in downtown Madison, WI.

Position Summary:

Both of these positions support program business functions through information systems including organizing web content, managing information storage and display, web page formatting, text conversion, and web publishing. The positions identify opportunities for use of the web and new IS technology, participate in planning, coordinating, and implementing new or modified web services and train employees in preparation of information for delivery to customers.

Required skills for this position include experience in all of the following:

  1. Web publishing using languages such as HTML and CSS 
  2. Website design, including navigation, architecture, usability, mobile responsiveness, and integration of content 
  3. Use of web editing software such as Adobe Acrobat and/or Photoshop 
  4. Use of SharePoint

Additionally, well-qualified applicants will have the following preferred skills:

  1. SharePoint administration experience
  2. Experience translating, organizing, and documenting business needs for the development of web and SharePoint initiatives
  3. Experience conducting testing, training, and/or providing user support

Pay is between $25.47 - $34.00 / hour ($52,977 - $70,720 annually). Pay on appointment for current or former state employees may vary based on the applicable provisions in the State Compensation Plan. This position is in Pay Schedule / Range 07-34.
