Job Overview:

This role will lead the strategy for both online and offline paid media efforts with a significant emphasis on building best-in-class digital and social media programs that drive business results. Execute, report on, and optimize marketing campaigns across channels such as display, paid social, print, broadcast, outdoor and streaming. Establish KPIs and other success metrics to effectively perform analysis of paid media campaigns. Leads efforts to grow social engagement and work to optimize the digital tools utilized to acquire and convert new customers while keeping current customers engaged. Oversee the creation of editorial calendars and scheduling daily posts to all applicable social media outlets, as well as coordinating the marketing calendars with paid media activity. Partner with other departments to ensure proper online and offline messaging and relevancy, ensuring consistency of messages across multiple media networks.

Primary Duties:

  • Partners with the marketing team to translate marketing objectives and media goals into integrated, omni-channel marketing media strategies and execute tactics that support and drive the business goals of the brand and enterprise 
  • Creates strategic integrated media plans based on data, audiences and campaign objectives to meet project goals while managing budgetary requirements. 
  • Leverages internal and external analytics to share data driven insights translating into media objectives and goals. 
  • Liaison between marketing and external agencies to collaborate on media plans and communicate a clear strategy through execution to ensure success. 
  • Understands the interplay between paid media, social media, email, and Website touchpoints and can speak to the role each plays across the guest journey. 
  • Develops and executes traditional mass media, including upfront media buy investments, TV, Radio, and OOH. Optimizes traditional mass media based on performance to ensure KPIs are met. 
  • Implement “test & learn” programs for digital channels including testing roadmap, test set-up, and results interpretation 
  • Keep current with industry news, digital trends, platforms, and experiences that can inform Enterprise’s activation planning and drive innovation and performance 
  • Set the strategy for the Enterprise’s social presence, ensuring all tactics lead back to company objectives. Develop new communities and managing branded online communities on the enterprise’s behalf using existing and emerging platforms. 
  • Build communication channels with other departments by attending meetings and establishing relationships as part of the enterprise’s social media subject matter group. 
  • Lead all social program execution, including day-to-day content sourcing and creation as well as post-campaign analysis, optimizations and post-mortems. 
  • Lead the effort to coordinate the marketing calendar with online activity, partnering with other departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy. 
  • Coordinate with Brand Marketing team to ensure they have relevant information to execute on media asset needs 
  • Interviews, selects, hires, and promotes team members. This includes training, developing, scheduling, performance management and terminations.

Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectations of this job:

  • BS/BA degree in PR, marketing, communications, business or similar. 
  • 6+ years of experience developing and optimizing paid media programs within an advertising agency or client-side environment. 
  • 2+ years of indirect or 1 year of direct people leadership experience. 
  • Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of evolving digital & social media landscape 
  • Experience with self-serve ad platforms, data/analytics dashboards and attribution tools. 
  • Possess a solid understanding of social marketing including experience with paid campaign development and community management for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, and others to drive user engagement. 
  • Experience with creating and identifying engaging social media content. 
  • Experience with developing integrated media plans, deliverables, execution and reporting. 
  • Passionate, confident and detail-oriented marketer with a passion for emerging media and social media trends. 
  • Ability to manage changing requirements as well as multiple overlapping projects at one time. 
  • Strong ability to analyze and make thoughtful recommendations based on budget metrics and marketing campaign performance. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail. 
  • Intermediate-level experience with word-processing, spreadsheets and electronic mail software. 
  • Excellent organizational skills.
