Position Details

Social Media Analyst
Northwest Wisconsin
Stevens Point, WI

We’re seeking a talented and motivated Social Media Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the growth of social media and thrives off collaborating with others. In this role you’ll be responsible for the execution of social media content plans and strategies across leading social platforms while also analyzing online conversations and engaging with social audiences.

This role will report to our Stevens Point, WI office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Executes social media content plans that are consistent with strategies set ensuring consistent brand and product communication throughout all digital channels. 
  • Engages with social audiences while respectfully responding and delegating social questions or complaints internally for review. 
  • Utilizes organic and insight features within Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other leading social platforms to provide insight on performance. 
  • Analyzes online conversations with an emphasis on social listening and provides actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams. 
  • Monitors and responds to social reviews on Facebook, TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google My Business, Glassdoor, etc. 
  • Collaborates with marketing team to provide recommendations on digital strategies that align with offline and online marketing programs and support business unit objectives. 
  • Maintain organization of all upcoming social media plans within calendar.

What It Takes:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related field 
  • Minimum 1 year of related work experience 
  • Experience utilizing organic features within Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. 
  • Proficiency in using social media publishing tools to monitor or schedule content. 
  • Ability to think strategically and align marketing plans with business objectives 
  • Experience with social listening and brand monitoring. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to set priorities, adjust priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
