The Social Media & Content Specialist strategizes and plans, implements and controls all of Fort HealthCare’s social media platforms. This position assists HR in recruiting efforts via social media, including posting jobs and boosting posts as needed. This position also assists members of the Marketing department with website content, including writing and posting multiple monthly blog posts, creating graphics, and more. This position requires multiple skills such as: basic graphic design, social media, communications, and special events photography and videography.

Responsibilities include:

  • Serves as lead marketing representative for all Fort HealthCare social media outlets.
  • Build and execute social media strategy through research, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Write, develop, and strategize online content production and scheduling.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share content daily (original text, images, and video).
  • Moderate user-generated content and messages appropriately, based on company and community policies.
  • Create and implement social media marketing plan and editorial calendar.
  • Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.
  • Support HR in recruiting on various social platforms.
  • Use data to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, coordinate promotions, and increase reach
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid, current Wisconsin driver's license upon hire.
  • 2+ years experience in social media, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter. Experience using Adobe Suite or Canva.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
