Social Media Content Specialist

Jack Link’s is seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to join our growing social media and digital strategy team. In this new role you will help elevate our brands across multiple social platforms through the development and management of created and curated content. The responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Ideation Leadership: Facilitate the content brainstorming process,working closely with cross-functional teams to develop engaging and on-brand concepts that will move towards production. 
  • Production Orchestration: Be the day-to-day leader for the content production workflow, which includes coordinating with internal teams, sourcing external vendors/production resources, writing creator/influencer briefs, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets. 
  • Content Capture: Participate and assist teams in the production process through on-set or in the field video, photography, and staging production/capture. 
  • Brand Guardianship: Collaborate with the brand marketing and social media teams to uphold consistent brand messaging across all social media platforms. 
  • Trend Exploration: Stay ahead of the curve by actively researching emerging platforms, social media trends, and fresh approaches to creation and curation. You will be the connection between where we are and where we will go across the social landscape.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Required Education:

  • BA Marketing/Journalism or related, or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of executing social media initiatives with demonstrated success bringing exciting, forward-thinking ideas to life or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with a wide range of creative formats including: image, video, and link content, as well as newer formats such as ephemeral content, live videos, 360 videos and images, GIFs, and AR/VR
  • Strong knowledge of social content best practices and content specifications in TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Experience using social media tools such as Sprout Social or similar platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
  • This role requires constant collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in content strategy and social media management
  • Strong project management, attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Passion for staying ahead of the curve in the social media landscape


  • Past agency experience is desired.
