Virtue Cider is looking for a Social Media Coordinator to oversee the brand’s overall social media presence. This position will play a big role in integrating and aligning the company’s marketing and sales strategy, ensuring consumers receive consistent messaging across all social media channels. This role will report to the Senior Media Manager, focusing on tracking and measuring trends, developing and executing on social plans and content calendars, setting business targets, and analyzing results against those targets. This person will ideally have a strong understanding of social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), passion for staying up to date on emerging trends, strong project management, leadership, and communication skills, and a grasp on the creative process as it relates to retail environments and distribution networks.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, manage and execute on day-to-day social media strategy, content and campaigns on social channels with guidance as needed from Senior Media Manager. 
  • Plan monthly and annual content calendar for social media posts. 
  • Ensure copy is written in brand voice to promote portfolio, activations, and overall company. 
  • Collaborate with content development team to support Virtue Cider’s strategic goals and commercial performance. 
  • Engage with community across all social channels in timely manner. 
  • Address community inquiries and escalate concerns to internal team as appropriate. 
  • Update website with current product and event information. 
  • Collaborate with creative, trade, portfolio, home market, experiential, pub, planning and finance leads to execute on strategies that support annual planning targets and metrics. 
  • Act as producer on video shoots for social specific content and provide feedback on all assets.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 2+ years’ experience preferably within CPG marketing (strategic planning and messaging, social content development and deployment). 
  • Direct to consumer marketing and tracking experience. 
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing including digital apps, email, .com, social & paid media. 
  • Experience in the Wine industry a plus. 
  • Passion for or interest in craft beer and/or cider a plus.
