Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for a social media coordinator.

Responsibilities include developing, coordinating and publishing social media content and campaigns while collaborating with the design team, copywriter and other corporate and technical staff; measuring and reporting on performance of social media campaigns; tracking customer engagement and SEO to optimize campaign content; serving as an internal expert on social media practices; providing trainings to internal staff on social media best practices; assisting with website maintenance; staying up to date with social media and digital best practices and technology. A valid driver’s license and some travel may be required.

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling four years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, journalism, English, or related discipline 
  • Associate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, journalism, English, or related discipline plus 2 years of experience 
  • No degree plus 4 years of experience

The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following:

  • B2B or service industry posts and campaigns on social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Vimeo)
  • Concurrent projects on tight schedules requiring coordination with multiple parties
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) analysis
  • Social search engine optimization (SEO) and web traffic data
  • Website maintenance and updates
  • Development and implementation of a social media plan
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
