The Social Media Designer role is responsible for the design execution of engaging asset content for various social media platforms using graphics (still and motion), videos, and more while adhering to company brand standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and develop visually compelling graphics, videos, animations, and other forms of content for use on social media platforms
  • Collaborate with the social media team on content ideation and to understand the requirements of each post, target audience, and objectives
  • Ensure content adheres to company brand guidelines 
  • Adhere to project deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work 
  • Stay up to date with current design trends, techniques, and digital best practices 
  • Keep up with current social media trends and innovations to keep Quad social platforms visually relevant 
  • Use Asana or other project management tools to manage workload

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis 
  • 2+ years’ experience using graphic design and social media for brand building 
  • Strong multimedia design skills and a keen understanding of how to create visually effective social media campaigns 
  • Deep understanding of layout, graphic design, photography, and videography 
  • Knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Suite and Canva 
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to manage deadlines 
  • Highly creative and able to produce original ideas/concepts
