Position Details

Social Media Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

Our new Social Media Manager will be responsible for supporting B2B & B2C brands through creating and sharing multimedia content. This includes developing strategies, managing created assets, growing communities and measuring growth—all while staying up to date with new trends in social media.

Here are the skills we're looking for:

  • Craft, implement, and manage social media campaigns for accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. 
  • Identify benchmark metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media programs
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize data, measurement, and reporting capabilities 
  • Manage social media projects and initiatives 
  • Communicate project status regularly to project stakeholders 
  • Create, curate, and manage an integrated social content calendar 
  • Build and maintain relationships with other members of the Celtic team, especially the creative department who assists with content creation.

Perform the day-to-day online activities including:

  • Developing relevant posts to reach the client's target audiences
  • Curating user-generated content
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns
  • Monitoring comments and competitor content
  • Engage with followers and customers across social channels
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists on social media plans for campaigns, including influencer and paid media campaigns 
  • Track and analyze SEO to provide solutions for social content optimization
  • Bachelors degree in journalism, marketing, communications or similar
  • Three years experience in writing for social media or copywriting for marketing materials 
  • At least 2 years experience in social media management 
  • Expert knowledge of social media channels and what sets them apart 
  • Possesses strong analytical skills 
  • Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics 
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs 
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Familiarity with Adobe CC and the creation of social media graphics 
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must live in the Milwaukee market
