Position Details

Social Media Manager
Southeast Wisconsin
Milwaukee, WI

You’ll be supporting social media marketing efforts for our roster of clients. As a member of the creative team, you’ll help create, publish, and monitor content on all media platforms. You’ll also be essential in using analytics to help improve campaign strategies while actively engaging with online communities.

  • Craft, implement, and manage social media campaigns for accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Identify benchmark metrics to measure the effectiveness of social media program
  • Recommend and implement improvements to optimize data, measurement, and reporting capabilities
  • Manage social media projects and initiatives
  • Communicate project status and issues regularly to project stakeholders
  • Create, curate, and manage an integrated social content calendar
  • Build and maintain relationships with other members of the marketing team to collaborate on ideas and promote teamwork to reach project plans and results, especially the creative team to assist in building content for social 

Perform the day-to-day online activities including:

  • Develop relevant posts to reach the company's target audiences
  • Curate user-generated content
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns
  • Monitor comments and competitor content
  • Engage with followers and customers across social channels
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists on social media plans for campaigns, including influencer and paid media campaigns
  • Track and analyze SEO to provide solutions for social content optimization
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or similar
  • 2 years of experience in writing for social media 
  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management/community management
  • Expert knowledge of social media channels and what sets them apart
  • Possess strong analytical skills
  • Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Familiarity with Adobe CC and the creation of social media graphics
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
