Position Details

Social Media Manager
Twin Cities Metro
Plymouth, MN

Reporting to the Director of Brand Marketing, DecksDirect is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution across all major social media channels and multiple brands. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, generate leads, and engage with our audience. You will also be responsible for analyzing social media metrics and making data-driven decisions to improve social media performance.

Part of this job entails customer engagement on social and in-person events, as well as creating short-form videos.


  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with business goals. 
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns with clear goals and objectives tied to ROI. 
  • Create engaging content for social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written content. 
  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers, responding to questions, comments, and complaints in a timely manner. 
  • Engage with customers on social media and in-person events to build brand loyalty and generate leads. 
  • Create short-form video content for social media platforms, including Instagram Stories, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. 
  • Plan, create, and manage social media promotional contests to increase brand awareness, engagement, generate leads, and drive sales. 
  • Develop and execute influencer campaigns, including negotiating contracts and managing influencer relationships. 
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences while analyzing social media metrics to gain insights and make data-driven decisions to improve social media performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and product teams, to ensure social media campaigns are aligned with overall business goals. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and continuously improve our social media strategy.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of running successful social media campaigns across most major channels. 
  • Multi-brand experience with both B2C and B2B customers is a plus. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Experience using social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer. 
  • Knowledge of best practices and proven working experience in social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube. 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (eg- Google Analytics) 
  • Paid social experience is a plus.
